Real Pirates are immortal

Last night at dinner my sister and I started talking about pirates.(I wonder how that happened!?) For those who don't know my Lizzy, she is nuts about pirates! Pirates of the Caribbean, The Pirates of Penzance, and Peter Pan. You name it we've probably seen it. Well, if it's a clean movie. Anyway, we were talking about an older movie that had recently been redone. She and I both agree we liked the newer one better. She also remarked that she didn't like the old movie's main character, (who happens to be a pirate) as adverse to the new one. "He looked to old. All pirates are immortal, so he should have been played buy a younger person." To this I replied, "Who told you all pirates are immortal?! Where did you get that idea?! Real pirates were cruel, like Barbossa!! Oh! Don't tell me! Johnny Depp has ruined your outlook on pirates!" Don't worry this was all in play. We love to play debate on any subject that comes our way. And so, it came to pass that I found her true thoughts on pirates. :) Oh, by the way, does anyone know when the second Pirates comes out?
