A Day in TIme

Yesterday my family and I went to Seattle to celebrate my grandmother's 82nd birthday. We attended church with her in the morning and in the afternoon we ate a delicious lunch my Uncle Roger created at her abode. My other uncle, David, and my cousin Ian came from Spokane and brought the French exchange student that is staying with them for the school year. His name is Robin. At first I was shy especially after Uncle David said, "Ok. Joyanna, now's the time to practice your French." But soon I felt comfortable because of Robin's French politeness. We did not speak much French, but he was always asking what the English names for things were. Robin is a little taller than Lizzy and has dark brown hair and kind brown eyes. A Frenchman in every way. What I loved the most about him though was his beautiful accent and how just listening to him filled me with the desire to learn French completely. Before he left he let me listen to his music. Although I caught a few words I was unable to understand the meaning of the song because they sang at a fast pace. It was such a blessing of motivation to have meet him and I know next time I will be more confident knowing we are both learning. Thanks God

I miss you, I hope some miracle lets me see you again before next summer.

Sigh, I don't have enough money to cover my living expenses.....pray that God would open doors.

I'm still sick physically. I went to the docter, but the meds didn't cure me. God will heal me though, I'm not worried.

My mental state is doing much better, much better. I wish I could be silent and still understood, that would be a blessing.

Anyway I wish I could let you know more of what's going on with me, but I am too busy today.

Tell Elizibeth that I'm sorry I didn't call, I didn't see in my calender till last night that it was her birthday on the tenth, so please let her know I'm calling the next day I can, which might not be till sunday, but I'm gonna.

Lizzy's birthday is in November, Wes. You do know that it is still October, don't you? =)
I honestly don't have any pictures of me at all. Well, current pictures. I might have some taken at my sixteenth birthday. I don't own a camara, yet. Sorry.

PS....Mad $17/hour last night. : )

The Dean of the Math/Science Department is talking to the chancelor about getting me full housing, tuition, and books. If I get that I would be paid $3000/semister to attend.......PRAY HARD. I would love to be able to afford a house by the time I get married, and with as expensive as they are right now.

PSS.....go read my Xanga this once.
