Know you these thingies?
Wednesday night Pastor John spoke on Absolute Truths and how it is important to know exactly what you believe and why. Last night without even realizing until later, I started scribbling these down in my jurnal.
~My Ten Truthes for the day~
:1.Jesus is my very best friend
:2. He will never leave me or forsake me, no matter what I do wrong
:3.I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
:4.The Joy of the Lord is my strength.
:5.I am created to worship and bring God glory(in more than just singing*)
:6.If I consentrate on becoming like Jesus(and not someone else) I will become what he has called me to be.
:7.Jesus is all I need; He can and will provide all I need.
:8. Through his death he has forgiven all my sins and freed me from eternal death(FEAR)
:9.Jesus lives in me; I am Jesus to EVERYONE I know.
:10. I am blessed and protected and Jesus interceeds for me to the Father.
~I went back later and realized, remembering John's message, that these are MY Absolute Truths. I then started declaring these out loud to Jesus,(for my benefit) and prayed that He would continue to work in my life. I could go on, but I think I don't need to. Sometimes the simplest things that we have known since childhood don't make a difference until we KNOW them through the Holy Spirit's revealing.~

Amen and AMEN! So true.
We (people) are so slow. It takes us more than once to really, truly get what God is talking about.
I think that's where we find the difference between hearing and listening.
I have to wake up each morning with a resolve that no matter what happen or how I feel I am going to serve God wholeheartedly and (can you geuss?) joyfully.
I wish that I was already perfected so that I could live life how Jesus did and see things his way! I am tired of having old prejudices come back even though I know they are wrong... Humph. Stupid assumptions.
I would love to be a child that trusts and belives that everyone is good and loves Jesus....
Hmm..Sounds familiar. ; )
Everyone is Good! Every person you've met could easily be transformed into a spiritual creature similar to the most Godly person you've seen! Isn't that exciting???
I'm having a great time back here, and so far all I've done is look for gas at 1 in the morning and not get it until 2.....fall asleep at 2:30 and wake up and come down here.
All of my friends are busy today, but I'm more excited about being excited than I can explain.
Yay....I'm happy.....I'm going to write some of those things down, well, my own things, hopefully the list doesn't become a short novel.
: )
I'm going, I need to talk to a person in person, anybody, I'll update my Xanga tonight or tomorrow.
Nathan Wesly...
I found out college stuff today, I think I'll write letters tomorrow morning.....I work 45 hours this week.
I can't call during the evenings cause I'll be at work, unless it's on my break.....I will likely call Wednesday.
I'm gaining an identity and losing insecurities. I'm getting a piano and voice teacher on Wednesday.
I'm starting a business.
I'm doing good......you're doing good.
Nathan Wesly
Wow. That quick huh? I'm happy for you and I hope you learn lots. Work hard! I will not be home on Wednesday, I work. Sorry.
I think my car is working again, but only for a while.
I don't like living in Arkansas, but today is wonderful, the sky has a tint to it that makes me extra-ordinarily happy!! I can't wait till may, the Ren. Fair!
I really think that my plans right now are to do one more year of school here and then transfer.
I'm doing well, I wrote a letter, but it's to everybody, and it's not very long......I need to learn to write better. Anyway, I'll send it when I get a stamp and envelope.
I guess the best time for me to call if I were going to talk to you would be?
Nathan Wesly
Ummmmmmmmmmm.....I am home on Fridays...I think. Yep. Call around...um, whenever you can. Hey, what car are you talking about? Do you mean a gray, overcast sky? It is snowing right now.
I am glad you decided (for this moment) to finish school out there. Beside, what does Washington have that Arkansas doesn't. I mean, other than us. :)
I must retire I am growing quite fatigued. Cheerio! *Looking around bewilderdly* Where on earth can my cousin and that pirate be?
Oh, well.
*sigh*
This girl scout cookie is good.
