God is sovereign. He possesses supreme and ultimate power. No problem is too large for him to handle. He created this world, now don’t you think he knows how to take care of everything?
In Isaiah 46:3-4 he says, ‘"I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth. Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair turns grey, I will take care of you." ’
And in Jeremiah 29:11 he says, "’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’"
When we have questions or need help, our loving heavenly Father would love to aid us. In fact, he is delighted when we bring everything to him, not just our problems but our joy also. Jesus is referred to as ‘the friend of sinners’ in Matthew 11:19 and in John 15:15 Jesus calls us his friends.
In this era of cell phones, I am sure everyone knows it takes communication to have a friend. It is the same with God. If you desire to know him and let him change and use you, be willing to take time and communicate with him. Yes, time is precious and hard to come by, but whatever is truly important to you, you will make time for.
Consistency is, above all, most important in getting to know who God is and what he desires for your life. Many of us try to commit to too much at once. Since the habit is new, we tend to forget it every other day or so and defeat the purpose of consistency. In daily communion with Jesus, start small, about ten minutes of reading his Word and praying at the beginning of your day is best. Don’t get into a rut with ritual prayers, but make everything personal. Take some time just to imagine how pleased he is that you’re taking time to talk with him and how he hangs on every word. Here is something I remind myself of daily. God always knows best because he created me with a specific purpose in mind. Take time to say hello to your best friend. You won’t be sorry. :)

Hello dear madame...
How are things in your exciting life?
I don't know about exciting, but mine is certainly busy. I've been working less at chick-fil-a and pursuing more other things lately.....and that has given me so much more satisfaction.
In other news, my sister is moving to Mississippi to live with Jason this monday. Which means......I'm moving back in with my parents.
I don't think I'm going to have a car next semister...I'm going to bike every-where: School, Work, Piano Lessons, Voice Lessons. Respectively that should be about 8 miles, 3 miles, 15 miles, 20 miles. I don't know if that will work all the time, so I'll see what will be up, but if I do that I will not have to work much. I want to be a team-leader at Chick-fil-A, but if that doesn't happen over the summer I'm going to get a different Job.
Anyway, this is getting long, I'm going to a wedding now.
Nathan Wesly
PS...I have found a piano and voice instructor, two different people.
Good for you, Wes. I am sorry I haven't written, but I have a very good excuse. I am up to my eye brows in business.(Hope you understand.)
