The clouds are threatening rain again. Something that happens frequently in WASH-ington. :) I love how green it is and the little wild flowers and stubborn daisy that are springing up everywhere. Lizzy braided a daisy chain for Partner. He said it smelled bad enough to get rid of fleas.
I have a piano recital on Tuesday @ 7pm. I am playing The Dianty Ballet Dancer and Gail-Leigh is going to dress up in her tu-tu and pink ruffles. I hope she isn't to shy to dance a few steps. Christi has her signed up for ballet classes this summer. She is a true girl.
Last night I played keyboard for True North for the first time. I couldn't really hear myself in the monitor, but Jenn said I did well. Lanell, who is finaly back from Portland, thought I had been playing all summer.
I love playing and making music for God. John is going to have me lead some of the songs next week and do the transitioning from worship to the message.
He shot a nail gun last night for a visiual aid. He thought it was emtpy. Praise God we didn't have to run anyone to the hospital! He hit the wall and all the girls screamed.
I was truely excited to see a change in the kids. They usually talk and are very distracted during worship, but last night I saw them taking part and even raising thier hands! This doesn't sound like much, but let me tell you this is a big improvement. I keep asking God for grace. I have to learn to be a leader on these people. Yipes!
Job hunting is intresting. For me, I pray and pray, and look, and pray some more. I am a special person who needs a special job. Or um, unique is a better word.
Jer. 29:11
" For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and future."

...I'm very glad to hear that no one was killed in the nail gun incident. *sigh* ...that John... *shakes head*

I love knowing that I am doing what God wants me to do and seeing the difference one timid person being used by God can make.
I love my Pastor. He is so special. Or, maybe I should say unique...
