True North

Though more than sands of all shores, stars are numbered
Such kind of great power left all men dumb-founded
Even billions of light years, of endless travel
God's magnificent reach, can no mind unravel
Less than insignificant specks are we in space
What kind of love He imparted to us by grace?
To inherit all things, what lofty grandeur is that?
To puny humans, who are much less than a gnat.
True North is to God and His "high" calling of life
Not to selfish, unrighteousness and endless strife
Not hooked to vices, worldly lusts or broken homes
Nor warring nations, kingdoms, or quest for thrones
The Ultimate Mind gave us a North Guiding Star
Take hold of His promises, that He's not that far
Let us focus our eyes to that only True Goal –
To the Kingdom! With all mind, heart, body and soul!
*****
"To who God is, His majesty is boundless
To what God is, His love defies all senses
To when God is, counting time is meaningless
To where God is, the light years would be endless
For why God is, that is our ultimate quest."
