What's Up with Me?

Ahhh... life (God) is good. One of my heart's desires, something I have wanted to do my whole life, is to be involved, really involved, in ministry. I love to serve. I can think of nothing that gives me more pleasure than just being busy about the Lord's business, in the Lord's house. This summer I have been able to start doing just that! I am a leader in my church's youth group, True North. My duty's are leading worship by singing and playing keyboard, taking attendance (this is no small task), getting to know and care for my girls, and most of all, heading up the prayer team. Everything is new to me and experience is the greatest thing I lack. This year I went to my very first youth camp and went as a bunk assistant. I had such an awesome, God-filled time; being poured into and pouring out to my girls. I honestly think (though I hope not) that God did more (changed more) in me than the campers. I came away with a totally different attitude about life and my calling to evangelism. Sometimes I feel as though I'll go crazy if I don't tell someone how much my limitless God is (madly and passionately) in love with them! My heart cries for my co-workers that don't know God and are walking in pain because of it. The books and stories in the Bible that used to bore me now comfort, enchorage, and give me wisdom to live by. Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Jeremiah the most, because of thier struggles with the calling on thier lives. The first chapter of Jeremiah has become my heart-beat, so to speak. How God calls him and promises... well, go read it for yourself! It will help you no matter what you are called to. My Bible says that everyone is called to evagelize to some extent. If we believe it, will we not live by it? What does your Bible say?
